Slipstream Brewing are an independent brewery and cellar door in Yeerongpilly, owned by Deale and Elisa Stanley-Hunt. They (rightly so) believe hops are the hero: they craft all of their beers with balance, but there’s a special place in their hearts for hops—the freshness and the juiciness, the zing and the zest. And that’s exactly why we’ve lined them up for our May stop on the Big Hop Bomb Brewery Tour™️.
Recently crowned Champion Small Medium brewery at the QLD Royal Beer Awards is a testament to how good these guys are. They won an impressive 24 medals in total across their range. One of their brewers also won the Champion Emerging Brewer Award. Legend!
This month’s Big Hop Bomb pack includes their latest limited releases; this is a line of limited releases that runs to Max G-Force Day on May the 4th (Star Wars Day).
First up is their latest edition of “Jetsetter Hazy IPA” this time with all NZ Hops. Then they roll into their Fresh Hop beer taken from a local hop producer Hilltop Hops, called “Local Buds 2024”.
Then we have Maximum G Force, an Imperial IPA. The Big Brother of G Force. This will be launched at 6 venues around Brisbane on the May the 4th and you’ll also be getting a can (500ml x 9.0%). This will be their biggest launch of the year and you’ll be one of the lucky ones who get to experience this monster hop bomb in this release. If you can find a bigger hop bomb in Australia, we’d be very surprised!
